Theology of the Body

An Introduction to the Theology of the Body:  Discovering the Master Plan for Your Life.  A DVD and Workbook Study.  The group will meet October 4 and 18 and November 1 and 15. Deb Larmour will be leading the discussions.

·        Into the Heart:  A Journey through the Theology of the Body:

Into the Heart contains sixteen, half-hour sessions. Titles include:

 Nuptial Union: A Call to Deep Intimacy with God

 The Heart: A Battlefield between Love and Lust

 The Ultimate Fulfillment of the Body

 Celibacy and Sexuality

 The Great Mystery of Marriage

 Singing the Song of the Body

This DVD and Workbook study was offered last year and we hope to bring it back next year.  Pre requisite for this course is the Introduction to the Theology of the Body.

Confraternity
of Our Mother of Perpetual Help

The confraternity meets on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m. for rosary and special devotions to Our Lady.  Monthly meetings held on the first Wednesday of every month following the rosary.  New members are always welcome.

Ministry of Pastoral Care

It was established as a formal means of outreach and support with the parish community.  We visit the three hospitals every Tuesday.  The bereaved are visited prior to the funeral and follow-up visits or phone calls when warranted.  Sympathy cards are sent out to immediate family members.  Home visits of the shut-ins are done monthly.  More help is needed in this service.  Visitation orientation classes are planned in the New Year.

Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada (UCWLC)

It is an organization open to all women of the parish.  This organization offers spiritual, social, education and cultural activities.  Meetings are held third Thursday of every month

 Ss. Peter and Paul Parish Council Knights of Columbus #11775

It is a Catholic Men’s Fraternity upholding the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.  Meetings are held every month.

Is open to parishioners over 50 years of age.  This group holds a monthly business meeting and sponsors various social and fraternal activities.
