For those wishing to join the Ukrainian Catholic Church an adult catechism program is offered.  Please call the parish office at 343-6516.

 THEOLOGY OF THE BODY

In An Introduction to the Theology of the Body: Discovering the Master Plan for Your Life.  In this adult faith formation program, Christopher West unfolds God's extraordinary plan for all of humanity.  If you desire to live out the fullest meaning and purpose of your life, then join us for this amazing discovery!

This DVD and Workbook study will be held on October 4 and 18 and November 1 and 15.  Debbie Larmour will be leading the discussions.

ICON WRITING CLASS

This class is scheduled to begin October 8 after the 9:00 am
liturgy.  Class times are somewhat flexible, but we will try
to schedule 2 Saturdays per month.

No prior experience is required, just a dedication of time. 

The cost is $200, plus the cost of brushes. 

The icon to be written is the Face of Christ sometimes referred

to as “Icon not Written by Hands”.

CONFRATERNITY OF OUR MOTHER

 OF PERPETUAL HELP

   Meet Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m. for rosary and special devotions to Our Lady.  Monthly meetings held on the first Wednesday of every month following the rosary.  New members are always welcome.  For more information, please contact Anne Porter at 382-4888.

MINISTRY OF PASTORAL CARE

This ministry was established as a formal means of outreach and support with the parish community.  We visit the three hospitals every Tuesday.  The bereaved are visited prior to the funeral and follow-up visits or phone calls when warranted.  Sympathy cards are sent to immediate family members.  Home visits of the shut-ins are done monthly.  More help is needed in this service.  Visitation orientation classes are planned in the New Year.  If anyone is interested and able to help, please contact Grace at 374-6304 or Joan at 373-6246.

Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada (UCWLC)

      It is an organization open to all women of the parish.  This organization offers spiritual, social, education and cultural activities.  Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.  For more information, please contact Marie Woytowich at 374-4715.

Ss. Peter and Paul Parish Council Knights of Columbus #11775

     A Catholic men’s fraternity upholding the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.  Meetings are held every month.  For more information, please contact Ron Gretchen at373-6137.

Ss. Peter and Paul Seniors Organization

     It is open to parishioners over 50 years of age.  This group holds a monthly business meeting and sponsors various social and fraternal activities.  For more information, please contact Wally Wandzura at 934-8058.
